NEOM Luxury Organics Travel Candle in Serenity ♡

I've been lusting over the NEOM candles after hearing many other beauty bloggers talk about them. They seemed to ooze luxury and all of the scents sound divine. I was so happy to receive one of their travel candles from my parents at Christmas, they really must know me well.
I received the Serenity candle which I think NEOM sum up the scent of perfectly. It's a definite vanilla with a deep edge and it smells divine, it's definitely a very unique scent, I have never smelt a vanilla like this. I love burning this candle whilst I'm revising as it really helps to calm and relax me and fills my room with it's beautiful scent. This is something that I think is soo impressive for such a small candle (75g), even my mum commented on how lovely it made my room smell. What I love about this candle is that the scent is strong but it doesn't feel like it is 'choking' you. I've had problems with Yankee Candle's in the past where I've felt that some of their scents have made me throat swell and I feel choked which makes me uneasy about burning them and I usually end up wasting a candle.
As you can see from the above picture NEOM's candles are made from a blend of 100% natural vegetable wax and pure aromatherapy oils. They don't contain synthetic frangrance which is why I think they don't affect my throat or breathing which makes the slightly expensive price tag worth it to me. They won't leave black marks around the glass jar which means I'm not breathing in any soot, unlike many of the Yankee Candles I have tried.
NEOM say that their travel candles burn for around 5 hours but I would say mine lasted around 10 hours which really impressed me. The travel candles don't last a really long time considering they have a £15 price tag (especially if you burn it all day like me) but I think its a great way to try out the candles before you splash out on the larger, 3 wick size. They are also such a pleasure to burn that I think it's worth it.
I also can't wait to use the jar for little trinkets and jewellery once I've cleaned it.
This candle retails for £15 for 75g and the full size (300g) retails at £39.50, but both are currently on sale  here and here. I'm praying that they aren't discontinuing this scent.
I can't wait to repurchase this lovely candle in the full size and also try out some more of their scents, I am currently after the happiness candle and the treatment candle.

Have you tried any NEOM products?

'Til Next Time,
p.s. sorry for the lack of posts, January exams have taken over, but my last one is on Monday so blog posts will be more regular from next week. Yay.

♡ Budget Muslin Cloths ~ A little Liz Earle Dupe ♡

I use a muslin cloth every time I wash my face. I love how it can gently exfoliate my skin leaving it feeling soft and supple and help deeply clean and take away any make-up. So I thought I'd share this amazing budget find with you. These muslin cloth's are 100% cotton and come in a pack of 1 for just 69p - yes you read that correctly, just 69p?! I was surprised by how low the price was so I thought I'd pick one up to see how they compare to my Liz Earle ones (which are not overly expensive at £4 for a pack of 2 but are hard to get hold of!). They are literally the same.  I can't tell a difference between them. These fabulous muslin cloths can be found at Home Bargains and I seriously recommend you check these cloths out, they are essential for my cleansing routine. I'm so happy with this find, I hope this helps someone out, maybe someone who's looking for some bargain muslin cloths?

Have you tried these muslin cloths?

♡ Geometric Mint ♡

Mint Crop Top ~ H&M // Geometric Necklace ~ Dorothy Perkins // Cardigan ~ Newlook // High Waist Jegging ~ Newlook

I took some photo's of my outfit in a new area of my room. I'm sorry there aren't many photo's for this ootd but I didn't expect to be using them. Do you like the new background? I much prefer it but I find it really difficult taking photo's of my outfit's whether it's just me and the tripod or someone else is helping me out.
I really love these high waist jeggings I got from Newlook. They are almost like a thick pair of leggings with pockets and a button and are so so comfy. I originally got them for school but I'm definitely going to buy another pair in maybe a grey or wine colour. I also love this mint crop top from H&M. Massive bargain at £1.99 compared to the Topshop prices and again really comfy to wear although I did feel a little conscious of having my stomach on show. I also wore with this outfit my Topshop Vecra Studded Slippers and my Silver Casio, very casual indeed.
I've just started back at sixth form and it's ok so far. I'm excited to start my Biology, English and Chemistry A-level's but not so much maths. It's really worn me out though, I'm currently feeling pretty run down due to me waking up at around 7 o'clock every morning (I'm not use to being up bright & early!). I'm sure I'll get used to it though.

How are you finding sixth form if you've just started? & how do you like the background?

⋆⋆ MAC Morange ⋆⋆

I bought a new MAC lipstick recently as I had been lusting over it for months and I thought I should treat myself for doing so well in my exams. MAC Morange is the perfect lipstick for me. It's my answer to a red lip as bright red lipstick can really bring the pink and red tones out in my skin which often makes me look overly flushed and leaves my skin looking un-even. MAC Morange works really well for me because it's a neon orange with a hint of red. I absolutely adore it.

M.A.C Amplified Creme Lipstick in Morange ~ £14

I ordered the lipstick from Debenhams as beauty card holders get free delivery and I wasn't going anywhere near a MAC store (even though I ended up in one before it arrived, typical).
It took around 6 days to come (but I did order it over a bank holiday) which was far too long for my impatient self.
The formula of this lipstick is absolutely perfect. It's so creamy to apply and goes on as a very strong colour with just one application. It's nice and moisturizing on my lips with a subtle sheen but after around 1-2 hours it begins to dry out and change into more of a matte finish which keeps the lipstick on for 3-4 hours +.
It's safe to say I am in love with this lipstick and I can see myself not being able to stop myself from wearing it. I definitely think MAC lipsticks are worth the price especially the amplified finish range as Morange has a beautiful formula.

Have you tried Morange? What's your current favourite lipstick?

♥ ♥ The Zara Basic Shopper ♥ ♥

I have recently been so in love with Zara. Every time I go in there I want almost everything, it all seems so on trend and chic. I am especially very fond of their bags and when I saw this bag, the Zara basic shopper, I fell in love. The size is perfect for sixth form and the finish of the material is so smooth. It has shorter handles for carrying on the crook of your arm and a longer strap when you just want to sling it over your shoulder, which is perfect for me. After hearing it was only £19.99, I rushed out to get it.

I am absolutely in love with this bag. It's nothing special really as it's just plain black but I really think the burgundy colour on the trim of the zip is a nice touch. The bag feels of such good quality I am surprised is was only £19.99! It's really comfortable to carry around and fits soooo much. My only problem with the bag is that it loses it's shape when carried with the longer strap, but I can live with that. I cannot wait to start using this bag for sixth form next week.

Also, I can't believe I haven't mentioned this yet but I got my results last week and I was very very happy with them indeed. I wasn't sure whether to share them on here or not as I don't want people to think I am bragging but I am very proud and I also like to hear how people did, so in case you wanted to know I got 1 A* and 10 A's and then a D in Welsh Language (but we'll forgot about that hah). I was so pleased and proud of myself and now I feel all motivated to go back to school next week, although I can't see that lasting for long!

What do you think about this bag?

❀ July Favies ❀

Hello everyone. I didn't have too many favorites this month but I wanted to do a favorites post anyway because I didn't do one last month and I love sharing products I'm really enjoying with you all.  If you would like any individual reviews on any products mentioned please let me know in the comments. Enjoy!

Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion in Light Sun Kissed
I love this because it's such a natural and fool-proof tan. Fake tanning can go very very wrong on a pale skinned gal like me but I find this so easy to apply, just like a body moisturiser. It doesn't give me a dramatic tan but it does give me a more "sun-kissed" look. It's very moisturising, smells pleasant and is enjoyable to use. Also it's cheap! Yipee.

Maybelline Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream
I tried the free samples on this (here) and fell in love. I bought it immediately because I was so impressed with the quality and how the colour matched me well even though I have a pale complexion and it looks a little orange in the tube. I'm not going to bang on about this one too much as I have a full review coming very soon!

Simple Kind to Skin Eye Make-Up Remover
I love this because it is oil-free but still removes my eye make-up very very well. So easy to use and makes taking my eye make-up off at night a much easier task from when I used make-up wipes. Although, I do find that it is running out quickly!

Benefit Hervana Boxed Powder
I've been wearing this non-stop since the sun came out because it's such an uplifting shade. A mix of purple, peach and pink tones really make my face look fresher and the subtle shimmer helps give me a glow. Perfect for spring/summer. It's also a very light shade so works well with pale skin, but I find it isn't very pigmented and has to be built up. (that's a plus for me as I hate too much blush!)

Nivea Milk and Honey Lip Balm
This is the closest thing I've found to the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Lip Protectant which I love but it's so expensive for a lip balm. This one is much cheaper and almost as good. It also tastes as yummy as it sounds.

Urban Decay Naked Palette
Ok so your all probably so bored of this palette by now but I have rekindled my love for it this month. I used it last night and created a lovely bronzey eye to go out for dinner for my Mum's 40th birthday and I was very pleased with it. The quality of the shadows are really great and the selection of colours are perfect. I'd recommend this to a starter as it comes with a primer, a brush and 12 versatile colours.

Benefit Hoola Boxed Powder
So this is only a small sample I had in the "Tan about Town" set but I love it. Such an amazing colour for a pale gal like me (all I seem to be saying in this post is how pale I am haha) and applies beautifully. The texture is really nice which makes the product a dream to blend. I'd definitely pay the full £23.50 for the full size but it'll be a sad day when I have to!

MUA Eye-Shadow in Shade 12 - Pearl
I love the MUA eye shadows but this one of my favorites. I find the texture very comparable to the shimmery ones from the Urban Decay Naked Palette which is very impressive for £1. The matte shadows aren't as good as the pearl shadows as they are a little chalky but I love them all the same. Apparently this is a dupe for MAC's Club eye shadow which is why I bought it to try the colour as it is beautiful and very unique, but I was worried I'd pay a lot in MAC and it wouldn't suit me. I'm so happy with this MUA shadow that I don't think I will be purchasing the MAC one. Hooray for dupes!

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in On-and-On Bronze
I love using this all over the lid or as a subtle liner. The colour is beautiful and the texture works great as a base or alone with minimal creasing. The pigmentation is great and the product blends easily and well. I think these are really good for the price and I really didn't want to follow the hype but I can't wait to purchase some more.

I also forgot to photograph the Maybelline Lumi-Touch Concealer which I've loved too, silly Carys, but a full review should be up soon :)

I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have a done a video/post on your July Favorites then please leave the link below, I'd love to hear.

Would you guys be interested in a Graze Box review? Not sure whether to do one or not just in case no-ones particularly interested.

☼ ☼ Sunny Days ☼ ☼

A little bit of a more personal/lifestyle post but I thought I'd share some images I've taken whilst enjoying the lovely British sun we've been having recently. I haven't really done anything too exciting but I've enjoyed relaxing with my boyfriend and visiting a lovely park nearby. I've also been doing lots of walking in an attempt to be a little bit more healthy.
Warning; the post is very picture heavy haha.

✿ Current Book Wishlist ✿

The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
She's Come Undone - Wally Lamb
The Book of Lies - Mary Horlock
The Fault in our Stars - John Green

I thought I'd do a quick book post today. I don't really speak about books a lot, I don't think I ever have actually but I love reading. I also thought it would be a nice change from beauty or fashion. I've only read 3 books this year which is pretty shocking so I need to get into a routine of reading again, I miss it. I can't wait until I have some money so I can buy and read all of these.

What are some of your favourite books? Have you read any of these?

♢ What's in my bag? ♢

I thought this was a 'must-do' post as everyone who's part of the blogging/youtube world has done either post or video on this. I was going to make a video but I decided that a blog post is easier and quicker right now due to my computer still being fixed and I'm currently using a very old dell laptop which isn't the quickest.
The bag I've been using literally every day since I got it is probably one you've seen/heard about. It's the Grey Zara Messenger Bag with Edging. The grey and the rose gold compliment each other perfectly and how could I not fall in love with this bag for £19.99?! Such a bargain. Although, it is looking a bit worse for wear as I seem to lug around too much with me. Oops.
I love reading these posts or watching these kinds of video's because I am such a nosey person. I love seeing what people carry around with them and what are their beauty, handbag staples, you know someone loves something when they feel as if they need to have it every where they go!

This was actually all photographed before we had all this lovely summer weather here in the UK so some other things I've been carrying around lately due to the weather is deodorant, an spf/sun-cream, LUSH Breath of Fresh Air toner water, 2 bottles of water and my camera.

I found a really lovely website based on the idea of the 'What's in my bag?' post/video called What's in my Handbag. I 100% recommend you check it out as it's a really wonderful website for sharing beauty tips and products, they also give out free samples each month and I recently received the Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrater totally free. They're currently giving members the chance to receive a Bare Minerals foundation sample!

Hope this was interesting enough and I'm sorry for the delay in posting, I've been enjoying the lovely weather we've been having here in the UK! I hope every one else is loving it as much as I am.

What are your hand-bag beauty staples? What are you doing to enjoy this lovely summer sun?

✣ ✣ Blog Button ✣ ✣

Hello everyone!
A super quick post today just to let you all know I now have a blog button. I've wanted to create one for ages considering a lot of blogs I come across are ones I've clicked on via their blog button. With the help of this guide, making one was incredibly easy.
If you'd like to put my button onto your blog then there is a widget on the right side of this blog with a widget code for the button and you can just copy that onto a HTML gadget, apply it to your blog and viola. If you do this then I will definitely return the favour if you let me know the code to your blog button. Thanks so much if you do :)

☁ Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash | Review ☁

Hello everyone!

Sorry for bombarding you all with 'love of the day' post, I'm just really enjoying getting involved in the feature and considering I can't upload good quality images from my camera due to computer issues then they are one of few posts I can do right now.

I wanted to wait until I could use my camera again until I reviewed anything but since this is only a facial wash, you don't really need to see any amazing imagery of it. I always love reading skincare reviews and I can't wait until I can upload properly so I can do reviews much more frequently and I have a few beauty products lined up to review next!

To begin with I love Simple skincare. I'm a massive fan of their light hydrating moisturiser and their eye make-up remover (If you'd like a full review on all of the Simple products I have let me know below).
All of the Simple products are catered for the more sensitive skin types as they contain no perfumes or colour and contain vital vitamins and skin loving nutrients for "naturally healthy skin".
Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash (With Vitamin Goodness and 100% Soap Free) 150ml
The Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash is a foaming wash that Simple say is a "perfect blend of active ingredients and vitamin goodness to keep your skin thoroughly cleansed and nourished. Perfect for even sensitive skin."
I'm a big fan of this wash because although it a foaming one, which tend to strip my skin leaving it feeling tight, it also has moisturising properties which help balance my skin without causing tightness and dryness. The wash itself foams up easily although sometimes I do have to use around a 1p sized amount to get the product to foam up how I desire. I really like this wash because I feel as if it removes my make-up and cleanses my skin very very well (I do remove my eye make-up separately beforehand). I've never used any other cleansing product that removes my make-up like this one and I really do feel like my skin is extremely clean afterwards.
Right now I use this wash both morning and night but ideally I'd like to only use this as a morning wash and I'd like to use the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish in the evening as more of a treatment (but sadly I've run out of that for now and I have to travel around an 1hr away to get it sigh). I think if you have a more oily skin type (Mine is more normal/dehydrated) this would work fine for morning and evening because the wash will take away an oils but then the moisturising properties will add moisture back into the skin so it isn't left stripped. Since using this product my skin has appeared to be very healthy but I have broken out a lot, I don't think it's from this product directly but this product doesn't do anything to get rid of them or combat them. This 150ml tube lasted me around a month and a half (used every morning and night) which I think is pretty impressive. I've already re-purchased!
You can purchase Simple skincare from almost anywhere and they are usually on offer but this wash is £3.59 at Boots
(Sorry for the very bad image!)

I hope you enjoyed and found this review helpful and let me know if you would like any  more!
What's your favourite cleansing product right now?

✌ LOTD | Blog Post #1 ✌

Hellooo everyone.

If you're wondering what "LOTD" (Love of the day) is, read my last post or visit the lovely Louise's blog.
Louise has decided that Tuesday's LOTD will be sharing a blog post that you have read and enjoyed/have learnt from/been inspired be/all that good stuff (as quoted by the lovely lady herself). You are able to chose one of your own blog posts or someone else's. I love the whole idea of sharing a blog post, definitely an opportunity to share some blogger love and positivity.

I have chosen to share a blog post that I have literally just read from a lovely lady who's known by the name of A Thrifty Mrs, who I first discovered in one of Louise's vlog videos on YouTube, coincidence eh?
I've been loving her blog lately and her recent blog post "eBay Craft Wishlist" has got me all inspired to get creative. I've already ordered the studs she mentioned in the blog to jazz up a plain H&M shirt of mine (£1.75 for 200? Couldn't say no). I love her blog anyway, she's always sharing wonderful "thrifty" and money saving tips, which is always helpful when I'm trying to save some pennies. Check her blog out, you won't regret it :)

Join in the fun at Sprinkle Of Glitter

Have any of you guys been getting 'creative' recently? Any other fans of A Thrifty Mrs?

Hamsa Hand Hand-Made Friendship Bracelet

Hamsa Hand Bracelet - MeJewels @ eBay

Just a quick post today as I am still revising for my exams (my first one is Monday sigh) so I'm very sorry about the lack of posting, but I'll be back to posting frequently after June 1st when my exams are over! :)

I just wanted to let you guys know about a little jewelry store on eBay that sell really cute friendship style bracelets. I came across them whilst looking for a nice Hamsa hand bracelet.

They sell many different style pendants like peace signs, hearts, stars, yin yangs, pentagrams, skulls, crosses etc.
You can also choose want colour string you want your pendant on from a big selection, I choose navy as you can see in the picture above, but you can choose from a range of black, blues, pinks, purples etc.
The bracelet itself is of great quality, much better than I expected for the £1.99 price tag (and free postage yay)
These bracelets would look really cute stacked on your wrist with other bracelets or a watch, which is how I where it but it also looks nice alone and would look really nice with shorts and a tee in the summer!

It also came packaged really nicely and the delivery was really fast. The size of the bracelet is re adjustable and would definitely fit any size wrist!

A few of my favorites..

I definitely recommend checking the eBay shop out if you're the hunt for some cute bracelets at a great price!

I hope you enjoyed this quick little post and I hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

Oh, and good luck to all of you, like me, stuck in revising for exams!
