Revlon Super Lustrous Gloss in Kiss Me Coral ♡

I've been addicted to lip-gloss lately. I never thought I'd say that considering lipstick has a special place in my heart but the glossy finish and the ease of application means that I'm reaching for glosses over lipsticks this summer. A long time favorite of mine has been the Benefit High Shine Gloss in Spiked Punch - a pretty peachy pink in a sticky-free, smooth formula gloss which I mentioned on this blog just as it was beginning, aw.
Revlon's offerings on the gloss front have been my current favorite, though. Their Super Lustrous Gloss in Kiss Me Coral had me at hello, especially in the new, super chic packaging *ooooo*. The colour caught my eye first and then the beautiful sparkle had me running to the  checkout at Boots. Revlon have aced the smooth formula I need in a gloss and have also earned some massive brownie points in the pigmentation department. This gloss is called 'Super Lustrous' for a reason as it has the most pretty, sheeny finish which helps enhance my pout - which I most definitely need. All this wonderfulness for only £6.99, how could I say no?
I'm definitely thinking about picking up one of these glosses in the near future - there's plenty of shades to choose from so I may just come home with them all (I wish).

Have you tried these glosses? If so, are you gushing over them like me?

☮ Giveaway; Revlon Nail Enamel ☮

So, this is going to be my first ever giveaway. It's a small one, a very very small one, but I know I won't be able to do the larger giveaway I have planned for a while so I thought I'd do a small one for now just to thank you all for reading, commenting and following my blog. It makes me so happy to know that all the hard work I put into this is appreciated by at least someone and it really does put a smile on my face.

I decided to give away a Revlon Nail Polish because they are one of my favourite brands of nail polish to buy. They have a lovely formula and brush, and application is really easy. They stay on for around 3 days with no chipping and they last forever as the bottle is so big.
The winner will receive one Revlon Nail Enamel in the shade Blue Lagoon completely new and un-opened. The colour of this is a beautiful pastel baby blue with the most subtle hints of shimmer, it is a truly beautiful shade.

To enter fill in the Rafflecopter form below where there are a number of ways of gaining entries, the only requirements is that you are a follower of my blog and you leave a comment with an email address or twitter username so I can contact you if you win. The giveaway will end in exactly one week on the 9th of September and the winner will be chosen soon after. If the winner does not reply after 48hrs of being contacted then a new winner will be chosen. I'm so so sorry but the giveaway is for UK residents only, I will be doing an international one in the near future though.
Good luck everyone :)

✩ How Much Is Your Face Worth? ✩

I saw Louise do this tag first and have seen many other bloggers do this post since then. I can't stop reading them, maybe it's because I am a little nosey but I find these posts really interesting to read. The idea of this tag is to list every product that is on your face and total up the price. I think it's interesting to see how the price of make-up really adds up and how expensive it really is to get a full face of make-up.

Nivea Milk & Honey Lip Balm £1.99 // Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer £6.99 // Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19 // Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream £7.99 // Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation £10.99 // Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder £3.99 // MAC Cork Eyeshadow £10 // Urban Decay Naked Palette £35 // MUA Clear Mascara £1 // E.l.f Mineral Eyeshadow Primer £3 // MAC Ricepaper Eyeshadow £10 // Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara £16.50 // Natural Collection Lash Build Mascara £1.99 // Benefit Hoola Boxed Powder £23.50 // Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme in Iced Gold £17 // NARS Deep Throat Blush £21 // Revlon Colour Burst Lipstick in Peach 75 £7.99

And the total is..... £183.12! I am a little bit shocked, knowing I've spent that amount on just one face of make-up makes me scared to think how much I've spent on my whole make-up collection although I do get my wear out of most of the make-up I buy so I guess it's worth it. Most of the prices were taken from the Boots website, of course the total price isn't 100% accurate as some things may of been bought on offer etc. but it gives a good estimate. I am a little bit of a high end make-up lover but as I can't always afford to splurge and there are some great products to be found on the high street, I usually have a good mix of high and low end make-up which is why I am a teeny bit shocked. I would love to do this tag again but with evening make-up on instead of everyday/day time make-up, what do you think?
Also, I can only apologize for the state of my skin right now, I'm having a really bad time with it. I've never suffered from spots or anything else really but over the past few months my skin has gone crazy and that's all I've been covered in along with some mysterious red bumps, and my skin has been very dry. I have literally no idea why. Sigh.

I tag everyone who reads this to do it. I would love to have a nose so pretty please leave a link if you do it or have done already.
I hope you enjoyed.

☼ My Summer in Lip Products ☼

Hi there.
I'm very sorry about being a bit absent lately, I've been feeling a little down in the dumps and haven't really felt like writing many blog posts, and when I have been writing posts they end up turning out dreadful. But tonight, I'm really in the mood to get writing. I'll be doing a batch of posts tonight so they should be a lot more frequent again over the next week or two, just in-case I'm feeling a bit down again.

So here is "my summer in lip products". Basically,  just my favourite lip products throughout this summer (as if the uk has had much of one, I feel robbed!). I saw a little article in ELLE recently called "My Summer in Shoes" and I thought it would be a nice idea (maybe? let me know) to do a series of posts called "My summer in..". I could do my summer in.. nail polish, lip products, skincare, jewelry, eye shadows/eye products etc. The ideas are endless, and then I thought I maybe could do this little series at the end of every season e.g my winter in...
If you like/hate the idea please let me know your thoughts in the comments because I'd hate to be writing posts that you all hate tehe.

(I promise I'll post swatches later on today as I completely forgot to photograph them, I'm so silly. So check back if you're interested in some swatches)

♢ What's in my bag? ♢

I thought this was a 'must-do' post as everyone who's part of the blogging/youtube world has done either post or video on this. I was going to make a video but I decided that a blog post is easier and quicker right now due to my computer still being fixed and I'm currently using a very old dell laptop which isn't the quickest.
The bag I've been using literally every day since I got it is probably one you've seen/heard about. It's the Grey Zara Messenger Bag with Edging. The grey and the rose gold compliment each other perfectly and how could I not fall in love with this bag for £19.99?! Such a bargain. Although, it is looking a bit worse for wear as I seem to lug around too much with me. Oops.
I love reading these posts or watching these kinds of video's because I am such a nosey person. I love seeing what people carry around with them and what are their beauty, handbag staples, you know someone loves something when they feel as if they need to have it every where they go!

Topshop Colour Block Purse
Paracetamol/Ibuprofen
Marc Jacobs Umbrella
Wilko Fruity Berry Instant Hand Sanitizer
3rd Generation iPod

This was actually all photographed before we had all this lovely summer weather here in the UK so some other things I've been carrying around lately due to the weather is deodorant, an spf/sun-cream, LUSH Breath of Fresh Air toner water, 2 bottles of water and my camera.

I found a really lovely website based on the idea of the 'What's in my bag?' post/video called What's in my Handbag. I 100% recommend you check it out as it's a really wonderful website for sharing beauty tips and products, they also give out free samples each month and I recently received the Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrater totally free. They're currently giving members the chance to receive a Bare Minerals foundation sample!

Hope this was interesting enough and I'm sorry for the delay in posting, I've been enjoying the lovely weather we've been having here in the UK! I hope every one else is loving it as much as I am.

What are your hand-bag beauty staples? What are you doing to enjoy this lovely summer sun?

♡ March Favorites ♡

Hello there! It's been such a long time since I last blogged and I have to say I've missed it, a lot. I had a bit of  trouble with not being able to import images on to my computer but I've (kind of) found a way around that now so yay.
So here are my 'March Favorites'. I've only included make-up this month as I've bought a few new bits that I absolutely adore and I've been dying to share with you and Spring is definitely my favorite season make-up wise!

Face
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - £9.99 - (Shade 51)
As you can see by the amount I have left of this, I absolutely love it. It's been my favorite foundation since last summer and I've barely used any others since. I have especially been loving it for this month as the weather has been warmer and this foundation is ideal for that. It leaves my skin looking healthy and hydrated without looking shiny and feels light on my skin. It has a light to build-able coverage which is perfect for my skin as I only need to cover redness and the odd spot here and there. I've had this foundation since the end of last summer and only now it is running out (although I do not use a lot of foundation but I do use it every day) which is great as it's only £9.99 and will not break the bank. A great summer/spring foundation and I totally recommend it!

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder - £6.99 - (Shade 52)
I love love love this bronzer. I've had this since last summer also and I've barely made a dent in it! I had been using Benefit's Hoola all of last month and decided I wanted a change so I went back to this.. and I haven't put it down since. I use it to contour my face (by sweeping it lightly on my temples and then added more the the hollows of my cheeks). The colour is perfect for my pale skin, even though it's not the lightest shade, as it doesn't give off a heavy pigmentation so it looks subtle and natural. Even though the product has slight gold specks of shimmer within it it doesn't appear on my skin so I would class it as a matte bronzer. I definitely recommend picking this up and for £6.99? It's definitely a bargain with the quality of a higher end product.

MAC Sheertone Powder Blush in Peaches - £17.50
This is definitely my all time favorite this month! I received this from my lovely boyfriend for valentines day I haven't stopped wearing it since. It's the perfect shade for spring/summer as it's a gorgeous light peachy colour which compliments my skin perfectly. It really brightens up any make-up look and looks natural for school but it also looks really pretty if I'm going somewhere a little bit nicer. I can't see myself putting this down any time soon!

Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme in Iced Gold - £17
When I first bought this product I wasn't the biggest fan, in fact I put it as a product that I love/hate on my 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty post.. but since then I've found a way to use it which looks amazing on my skin and highlights my cheek bones and other areas of my face perfectly! I've been using it with my Real Techniques Contour Brush (which I should of included in my favorites). This brush applies it effortlessly and naturally to give my skin a healthy glow which I've been adoring for this sunny weather. I've also been using it as a cream eye shadow for my school make-up or whenever I'm in a rush (thanks to this video by the beautiful Tanya Burr).

Eyes

Benefit Eye Bright
I had this free in Glamour Magazine last year and I don't think benefit do this anymore *sigh* but
I've been using it on my water-line for it's looking a bit red. It makes me look much more awake and really brightens up my eye area. It's running out though and I don't know where I can get another one, so if you know of any similar eye pencils that I could use on my water line that aren't white then I'd love to hear your recommendations!

Max Factor False Lash Effect Fusion Mascara
I've been trying out a few different mascara's lately as I am on the hunt for a holy grail mascara. I really like this one, not quite holy grail material but I've been really enjoying using it. The brush is plastic, which I've recently found out that I prefer, and chunky. It really adds volume to my lashes and doesn't cause them to clump together at all. It's just quick and easy to use and leaves my eye lashes looking pretty great!

MAC Palette £6.50 - Ricepaper and Cork £10 each
I haven't put the palette down since I got it. I love "Cork" for my eyebrows if I'm in a rush or on the outer area of my eye for subtle definition, it's the perfect matte brown for my skin/eye colour. My favorite of the two is definitely "Ricepaper". It's a pretty goldish highlight colour which I love swept across my eyes for a quick and natural eye look. The both shadows compliment each other great! As you can see I haven't filled my palette yet, any recommendations of MAC eye shadows? I'm thinking "Vex" as my next purchase!

Sleek 'Au Naturel' Palette - £6.49
I got this palette a long time ago and I haven't really used it until now! I've been loving the peachy light shades as they really bring out my blue eyes and I've been loving the darker shades either in the crease or as liners. I can't believe I hadn't used the palette sooner, definitely great for spring/summer and the quality of the shadows are amazing for only £6.49!

Lips
Revlon Colour Burst Lipstick in Peach 075 - £7.99
I love love love this lipstick. It's the perfect peachy everyday lipstick for me! The formula is creamy and moisturizing although if I have very dry/cracked lips it can sometimes stick to it and it doesn't look too pretty, but I look after my lips well and they are usually in good condition (luckily!) If you're looking for a pretty, natural, everyday, good quality lipstick then this is the perfect one!

MUA Love-Hearts Lip Balm in Kiss Me - £2
I love this lip balm for when I don't want to wear lipstick (like for school etc) as it gives the prettiest tint to my lips! It's glossy and moisturizing and it's easy to apply and carry around. Definitely worth £2 and I plan on getting the other shades soon :-)

I hope you enjoyed my favorites this month and I hope the post wasn't too long (oh dear it was very very long haha)

What are you favorites for this month? // Would you prefer if I wrote a mini review of each product (like in this post) or would you prefer a brief favorites next time? // What posts would you like to see from me next?

Til next time,
