✣ ✣ Blog Button ✣ ✣

Hello everyone!
A super quick post today just to let you all know I now have a blog button. I've wanted to create one for ages considering a lot of blogs I come across are ones I've clicked on via their blog button. With the help of this guide, making one was incredibly easy.
If you'd like to put my button onto your blog then there is a widget on the right side of this blog with a widget code for the button and you can just copy that onto a HTML gadget, apply it to your blog and viola. If you do this then I will definitely return the favour if you let me know the code to your blog button. Thanks so much if you do :)

♡ New Release: Sigma F88 and P88 ♡

Source

Hello everyone.
I've never done a post like this before but it's the type of post that I would love to read and I think all of you would too. Sigma have released two new brushes into their best selling and widely talked about Sigmax collection.
The Sigmax collection are all synthetic brushes and can be found here on the Sigma website.
I am a Sigma Affiliate (anyone can become one and if you're not quite sure what a sigma affiliate is go here and click the affiliate tab). I thought I'd let you all know that that's not the reason I am writing this post, nor to gain commission/money etc. It's because I am really interested in these brushes. I own the P84 Angled brush from the Sigmax collection which I adore for concealer and various other cream/liquid products which has a very similar shape to these new brushes excepts it's more curved instead of flat. I thought I'd let you all know with this post in case you were interested in buying them, I know I am anyway. I thought I'd write this post letting you know whilst these brushes are still new just in case they sell out, I wouldn't want any of you to miss out, and anyway my blog is about informing readers on beauty/fashion etc. I love Sigma brushes anyway, I think they're very nice quality for the price and have a huge range.

Product Infomation
Sigma say.... "The F88 brush blends foundation easily onto hard to reach areas of the face. The specially designed angle fits all areas of the face seamlessly. The F88 works especially well on the cheekbones and contours of the nose. The P88 brush is best used for precise application of concealer products. It works particularly well around the eyes and nose."

P88 Precision Flat Angled
I can imagine this to be true about the products as the P84 brush works well in the same way for concealer and other liquid/cream products. The angled point makes it easy to blend and apply the product to hard-to-reach areas such as around the nose, the crease or the chin and in the corners of the eye. I can imagine the P88 brush being just as good or maybe even better than what the P84 can do so I am very much intrigued. I also think the brush would work well in apply a contour right into the hollows of the cheeks and applying highlighter. Due to the synthetic hairs these brushes will work best with liquid/creamy products.

F88 Flat Angled Kabuki
I haven't really used anything like the F88 brush, nor have I tried any foundation brushes from Sigma but I imagine this to work similarly to the P88/P84 brushes only on a larger scale. I image it would blend foundation well around the nose where it sometimes sticks for me. I'm very interested in trying this product as I love the P84 so much.

Cost? The F88 Flat Angled Kabuki brush is $16 (around £10.50). I'm actually surprised at this price, I thought it would be a lot more expensive. The P88 Precision Flat Angled brush is even cheaper at $14 (around £9).
When Available? From July 11th on-wards.
Where? The Sigma website here.
These brushes are also part of the permanent collection, yay!

Also, Sigma have offered a 10% off  discount code of your entire order with no minimum spend required. The code is AP2012 and is valid from July 1st - July 31st.

I hope you enjoyed this post and if not I have a haul video and a 'top summer cheek products' post coming soon.

What do you think of the new brushes? Will you be buying?

✿ Empties/Products I've Used Up #1 ✿

Hello everyone!
I've been obsessed with these kind-of videos lately so I decided to do my own. I've always secretly wanted to make a video and I hope this one is ok quality wise. I hope you don't think I'm too awkward in the video and I hope it's interesting to see my view on some of the products I featured. I hope you watch and enjoy the video and I would LOVE to hear some feedback. E.g. the quality, where I'm sitting, lighting, and me in general!

Leave a comment, I'd love to hear!

❀ ❀ Current Beauty & Skincare Lusts ❀ ❀

Hello everyone!
Thought I'd do a quick little post letting you all know what I'm lusting over beauty/skincare wise at the moment. Mostly because I've been watching YouTube videos (and the tennis!) all day and it's really got me in the mood to splurge on some high end make-up bits. I'm looking forward to when I got some money as I'm very poor right now so I can purchase some of these items! I haven't bought nice, high end make-up in months and I need my fix. I'll most probably purchase Illamasqua's Cream Pigment in Hollow first, or the Skin Base Foundation, or MAC's Morange as they are the products I'm lusting after the most. Enjoy!

  • I really want to try the Hollow pigment as a contour colour as I'm rather pale and I've heard this works really well. I can also use it on my eyes so I think it's worth the £17 price tag as it's a multi-tasking product.
  • I'm dying for Morange by MAC because classic red lipsticks don't suit my pale, and sometimes quite pink, skin. Oranges flatter my skin really well so this is the perfect "reddy" colour for me (I think!).
  • I love the synthetic brushes from Sigma so this synthetic, 12 peice, vegan friendly brush kit is right up my street! I think 12 'best selling' brushes for around the £70 mark is pretty good (and it comes with a container for storage and travel!). I'm definitely hinting at these to my parents for my birthday! You can get Sigma brushes here.

I hope you've enjoyed this post!
What are you currently lusting after?

☁ Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash | Review ☁

Hello everyone!

Sorry for bombarding you all with 'love of the day' post, I'm just really enjoying getting involved in the feature and considering I can't upload good quality images from my camera due to computer issues then they are one of few posts I can do right now.

I wanted to wait until I could use my camera again until I reviewed anything but since this is only a facial wash, you don't really need to see any amazing imagery of it. I always love reading skincare reviews and I can't wait until I can upload properly so I can do reviews much more frequently and I have a few beauty products lined up to review next!

To begin with I love Simple skincare. I'm a massive fan of their light hydrating moisturiser and their eye make-up remover (If you'd like a full review on all of the Simple products I have let me know below).
All of the Simple products are catered for the more sensitive skin types as they contain no perfumes or colour and contain vital vitamins and skin loving nutrients for "naturally healthy skin".
Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash (With Vitamin Goodness and 100% Soap Free) 150ml
The Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash is a foaming wash that Simple say is a "perfect blend of active ingredients and vitamin goodness to keep your skin thoroughly cleansed and nourished. Perfect for even sensitive skin."
I'm a big fan of this wash because although it a foaming one, which tend to strip my skin leaving it feeling tight, it also has moisturising properties which help balance my skin without causing tightness and dryness. The wash itself foams up easily although sometimes I do have to use around a 1p sized amount to get the product to foam up how I desire. I really like this wash because I feel as if it removes my make-up and cleanses my skin very very well (I do remove my eye make-up separately beforehand). I've never used any other cleansing product that removes my make-up like this one and I really do feel like my skin is extremely clean afterwards.
Right now I use this wash both morning and night but ideally I'd like to only use this as a morning wash and I'd like to use the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish in the evening as more of a treatment (but sadly I've run out of that for now and I have to travel around an 1hr away to get it sigh). I think if you have a more oily skin type (Mine is more normal/dehydrated) this would work fine for morning and evening because the wash will take away an oils but then the moisturising properties will add moisture back into the skin so it isn't left stripped. Since using this product my skin has appeared to be very healthy but I have broken out a lot, I don't think it's from this product directly but this product doesn't do anything to get rid of them or combat them. This 150ml tube lasted me around a month and a half (used every morning and night) which I think is pretty impressive. I've already re-purchased!
You can purchase Simple skincare from almost anywhere and they are usually on offer but this wash is £3.59 at Boots
(Sorry for the very bad image!)

I hope you enjoyed and found this review helpful and let me know if you would like any  more!
What's your favourite cleansing product right now?

☮ Love of the Day | Fact or Quote #2 ☮

Hello everyone!
If you're wondering what 'Love of the Day' is then wander over to the lovely Louise's blog and read this post or you can read mine here.

Today is Friday and Friday is always a LOTD that features a fact or quote that has inspired you/stood out/interested you etc etc. Check out Louise's post here, the quote she featured was really very wonderful and although it was a religious one and I am not religious in the slightest, it's really stuck with me and has really made me feel a little strength. It will be a great one for those tough times or just when you need a little something to keep on going.

I firstly had no idea what I was going to feature this week so I had a little scroll through my Tumblr and I came across this quote.
Image from whitepaperquotes.tumblr.com

I chose this quote because I'm sometimes a very shy/awkward person and I tend to care a lot about what others think of me or how people see me. It's not a very good trait so when I read this quote I thought it was perfect for myself. I love it because It's so simple but it really makes me want to just stop caring about others and do things with a little more freedom. I've already saved this image to my phone so whenever I'm feeling a little concious about others I'm going to read over it and hopefully let loose a little bit. I hope this has had the same affect on someone else because I know many of us care a lot about others opinions and I really struggle to over come it but this makes me want to dance in public and gives me a little confidence boost.

How did this quote make you feel? What's your favourite quote right now?

★ Love of the Day | eBay #2 ★

Hello everyone!
If you're wondering what 'Love of the Day' is then wander over to the lovely Louise's blog and read this post or you can read mine here.

I'm so so sorry that I didn't do yesterday's LOTD (which was on books), I was super-duper busy and literally had no time. I was really looking forward to writing the post as I wanted to feature a book that I've been dying to get but haven't got around to it. I was going to still write the post and post it today but then I thought I'd be bombarding you with LOTD posts (which I already am) so I thought I'd save it for next week!

Today is Thursday however (this post is a little late too I'm sorry) and Thursdays always feature something fun/bargainus/brilliant on eBay! I'm always scrolling and searching through eBay to see if I can snap up any amazing deals or get something at a great price. I also sell frequently on there and here is my ebay if you'd like to have a look.

Today I've decided to feature this silver collar/choker necklace. I've seen this style of necklace on hundreds of bloggers and youtubers and they just look so chic and most definitely jazz up a plain t-shirt which is mainly why I love them so much because I love the t-shirt, jeans and heels look at the moment (OOTD soon maybe?).
I recently bought a rose gold one from H&M for £7.99 which I thought was pretty steep for something so simple which is why I think this one is so wonderful. At £1.99 it is a steal and you won't find them cheaper in any high-street store. I love how it is so thin and it looks so dainty. I can't wait until I order one and I'll be sure to feature it and the H&M one in posts soon (If you like?). Hopefully my computer will be fixed soon so I can upload my own camera images again yay.

Do you love these collar necklaces like me? What's your favourite eBay find?

★ Love of the Day | Blog Post #2 ★

Hello everyone!
If you're wondering what 'love of the day' is head on over to the lovely Louise's blog and read her post explaining it here or you can read mine here.

So it's Tuesday which means today's LOTD will be featuring a blog post I've read and loved or felt inspired by or have learnt from, which is always tough because I love almost every post that any of the bloggers I follow write because they're all so fabulous. But I think the post I've chosen is a very good one indeed.

The post I've chosen today is a bit of a helpful one for newby bloggers or bloggers who are looking for a bit of guidance.. whoever you are I recommend you read the post for some top tips on blogging. This post about the "The 10 Blogging Commandments" was written by this lovely lady. I'm sure you've all already heard of her and are already following as her blog is pretty popular which proves she's rather wonderful. I always watch her YouTube videos where she's known as Leanne Woodfull. I've watched her and read her blog ever since I began blogging and watching YouTube videos and she's amazing. Her fashion is perfection and she's an all-round interesting and nice person. She's also Irish and her accent is fabulous.

I chose this post because it's one of the most helpful post I've read on blogging to date. I've learnt something from reading it and I think any and every blogger could take something away from it, especially people thinking of starting a blog or someone who's a newby, I think this would be the perfect way to inspire and teach you. Just read it, you won't regret it (I promise!).

Join in the fun at Sprinkle of Glitter! And read Louise's post here.

Are you fans of Leanne Woodfull/Thunder + Threads? Which blogger inspires you?
