♡ ♡ Review; Balance Me. Wonder Eye Cream ♡ ♡

Balance Me. Extra Care Wonder Eye Cream £14 for 10ml // £20 for 15ml
I got this free with Glamour magazine I believe last month and didn't really expect to think much of it. I was pleased to have it as I needed a new eye cream but I didn't expect it to be any good.
I have to admit, I was proven wrong. Balance Me. in general seem like a really interesting brand and I would love to try more of their range as natural products always intrigue me.
The Balance Me. Wonder Eye Cream is of 99% natural origin which is always a plus for me. I feel like I'm being a lot kinder to my skin, although I necessarily may not be, I just prefer to use natural products if I can.
Balance Me. target this cream for "soothing, brightening and lifting" and say it "helps to revitalize and smooth away dark shadows and reduce the appearance of fine lines" and is for all skin types. I have normal/combo skin and don't really suffer with any skin problems around my eye area apart from them being dark and very dis-coloured and occasionally a little dehydrated.
This eye cream does exactly what it says on the tube (and more) which is so refreshing (I apply a small amount to lid, under eye area and surrounding area of the eye). This eye cream is definitely soothing and brightening and has visibly reduced the darkness under my eyes and the surrounding discoloration. I was so pleasantly surprised when I noticed how much brighter the under area of my eye looked. It also helps to smooth the area whilst keeping it hydrated. Of course this is no permanent fix to dark circles and I'm sure nothing could be, but for the time I am using this product it is doing a very good job at reducing their appearance. I'm not too sure about it reducing the appearance of fine lines as I don't really have many being almost 17 but I do find it to be lifting and soothing and my general eye area just looks a little bit nicer when I'm using this. I wish I could of done a before and after of my dark circles to show you how it's worked but like I said I didn't really expect it to work wonders at all. I guess it's called the 'Wonder Eye Cream' for a reason.
I'm going to be very sad when this runs out but I will definitely be repurchasing after I have tried the Origins GinZing eye cream. I think £14 for 10ml is a very reasonable price as I can see visible improvements with this eye cream and I would love to try more of the Balance Me. range.

What are your opinions of the eye cream/Balance Me.?

17 Wild Metallics Cream Eyeshadow in Wild Nude - Review

Hey guys! Just a quick review on a new product I've been trying out recently that's been requested :-)

I'm actually in the middle about this product. It can be purchased from Boots for £3.99, which I think is reasonable for what the product is. The colour is really beautiful though. I haven't tried any of the other shades out, but they come in silver, purple, blue, green, bronze, and obviously the nude shade I have. I really do love the colour of this particular one though. It's the right balance between a light/nude brown and a greyish colour, and looks very flattering with my blue eyes and pale complexion. You can blend the product well, for a sheer look, or pack more product on for a more "intense" look. It has a very subtle shimmer, which surprisingly I really like, and I find it brightens my eyes instantly.

I don't know if you can tell by the photo's above, but they texture of the product is very "mousse-like", which makes the product easy to blend and gives off a very "smooth" finish.

Swatch of what the product looks like when "packed" on, can be easily blended to create a subtle look too.
I love wearing this cream eye-shadow with a brown pencil eye-liner smudged into my top and bottom lashes. It gives a very messy/grungy, "effortless" make-up look, which I find great for school or if I'm going somewhere and I need to get ready in a rush. It also reminds me of the Olsen twin's make-up, which I'm a big fan of! I also like blending it into my crease with a fluffy blending brush, I usually use one by No.7,  which creates a subtle contour to my eyes, and brightens them. Although, I do find that when applied all over the lid, the product does crease, a lot. Which I guess I don't mind too much, but if you're not a fan, then I definitely do not recommend this product. I've tried setting it with eye-shadow and priming my lids with my favourite primer (urban decay's primer potion) but it still creases very badly. I wouldn't recommend wearing this if you know you're planning on having it on for a long period of time!

All in all, I guess I do like this product and I'm glad I bought it as I find it's quick and easy to use, and I'm glad it's part of my collection :-)

I hope you found this helpful! And if you have any requests leave them below in a comment :-)
