♡ Rimmel Metal Rush Nail Polish ♡

Top to Bottom - Pearly Queen layered over a pale pink, Pearly Queen alone, Royal Blue.

I had these lovely nail polishes for my birthday so I thought I would do a quick post on them as they are just so darn pretty and they are part of Rimmel's new A/W collection (and I kind-of wanted to try out my new nail wheels , how swish!)
I have the shades Royal Blue, a teal blue shade with a purple iridescence and Pearly Queen, a lilac pearl with a greeny iridescence. As you can see in the image above there are three shades swatched. I swatched Pearly Queen on top of a pale pink because its very sheer worn alone, you can't tell by the swatch but alone you can see the white tip of your nail beneath the polish (no matter how many coats) and I really don't like the look of it but as a top coat its really pretty.
I actually really love these polishes especially Royal Blue. The formula is really smooth which makes it really easy to get perfectly painted nails each time. The brush is also really wide which is something I look for when choosing polishes as I find it makes painting my nails quicker and easier.
I love the idea of these polishes that you can get a "two shades in one" kind-of look. When you move your nails back and forth the shades will switch, for example Royal Blue switches from teal to purple, which is why I think these polishes are extra special. I really want to get my hands on Purple Reign which is a berry shade.
I am also really liking the rest Rimmel's new A/W collection, I think they've really 'pulled it out of the bag'.

These polishes are just £3.99 (bargain!) and can be found at Boots.

What do you think of these polishes? Do you have/will you be getting some?

☼ My Summer in Lip Products ☼

Hi there.
I'm very sorry about being a bit absent lately, I've been feeling a little down in the dumps and haven't really felt like writing many blog posts, and when I have been writing posts they end up turning out dreadful. But tonight, I'm really in the mood to get writing. I'll be doing a batch of posts tonight so they should be a lot more frequent again over the next week or two, just in-case I'm feeling a bit down again.

So here is "my summer in lip products". Basically,  just my favourite lip products throughout this summer (as if the uk has had much of one, I feel robbed!). I saw a little article in ELLE recently called "My Summer in Shoes" and I thought it would be a nice idea (maybe? let me know) to do a series of posts called "My summer in..". I could do my summer in.. nail polish, lip products, skincare, jewelry, eye shadows/eye products etc. The ideas are endless, and then I thought I maybe could do this little series at the end of every season e.g my winter in...
If you like/hate the idea please let me know your thoughts in the comments because I'd hate to be writing posts that you all hate tehe.

(I promise I'll post swatches later on today as I completely forgot to photograph them, I'm so silly. So check back if you're interested in some swatches)

✹ Face of the Day: Shopping with Mama-Bear ✹

Hello guys,
My first "face of the day" post (how exciting). I didn't do anything too thrilling today. I went shopping with my mum and she treated me to some cute jeans from Topshop (thanks mum!) and I picked myself up a deep pore cleanser by botanics as almost everything by them is on clearance as I think they're being discontinued. I love botanics so I recommend you pick some things up from there whilst they're cheap and before they're discontinued!

My make-up was pretty natural today but I liked it, and I mostly used make-up from the high street for a change so I thought I'd share it with you guys, I hope you enjoy and I hope you've all had a great weekend :-)

E.L.F/Recent Make Up Haul! + Small Review

Haven't bought too much make up recently, considering it's my birthday on Thursday (woo) so I'm waiting until then to buy anything! But I did make an order on E.L.F (eyeslipsface.com) when they had another one of their 50% deals so I took advantage of it and got some things I've had my eye on for a while! Over all I like everything I've got so yeah, hope you enjoy! :)

Mineral Eye Shadow Primer - Sheer - E.L.F - £1.50
(Very good at preventing shadow from creasing)
Mineral Lip Gloss - Pageant Princess - E.L.F - £1.50

(Pale Pink with Gold Shimmer - Fairly Sheer)
A very sticky gloss, almost unwearable!
Mineral Lipstick - E.LF - Ripe Rose - £1.50

Swatched twice
Love this lipstick! Great formula and pigmentation, and its the perfect colour for Autumn/Winter so I shall be wearing it a lot! :-)

Angled Eye Liner Brush - £1.75
Cream Eye Liner (below)

Cream Eyeliner - Coffee- E.L.F - £1.75
Soo glad I bought this! Lovely colour, looks natural, and is great for wearing to school/work etc. as it is quick and easy to apply (I use E.L.F Angled Liner Brush) and stays on all day without smudging, at all! And it's very affordable and comes with a decent brush!
Brush that came with the cream eyeliner

Blending Eye Brush - 75p & Powder Brush - E.L.F - £1.75

All Over Cover Stick and Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara - E.LF - 75p

All Over Cover Stick - E.L.F - Golden Peach -75

Hate this!
Swatched 3 times
Another product I am in love with! I've worn this almost every day with a lip balm underneath because it can be quite drying! But it is a beautiful peachy/pink colour and looks extremely natural and flattering with my complexion! I need to get more of these :-)

Blush - Peachy Keen - E.L.F - £1.75
Really pretty natural peachy colour! :-)

Contouring Blush and Brozing Powder - E.L.F - £1.75
Rather disappointed with this product, although I like the bronzer for contouring, I didn't expect them to be so shimmery, which puts me off using them! and the colours aren't the greatest, but hopefully, I'll find a good use for them! :-)
